Proprietary software

labconvert — including its conversion engine, web backend, frontend, and documentation — is proprietary software owned by labconvert.tech. It is licensed, not sold. No part of the source code is open-source or placed in the public domain.

What you may not do

Except as expressly permitted in writing by labconvert.tech, you may not:

Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the software.
Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the software.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
Remove or alter any proprietary notices.

Hosted service

Use of the hosted converter at this website is governed by the terms of service. Your use of the Service does not transfer any ownership of the software to you.

Lab plan (self-hosted)

The Lab plan grants a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to run the self-hosted labconvert Docker image inside your own organisation’s infrastructure, for your internal users, subject to the purchase terms. It does not grant rights to redistribute the image, sublicense it, or offer it as a service to third parties.

Your files

This licence covers the labconvert software only. It does not affect any rights you hold in the lab files you convert — those remain entirely yours.
