What we collect, what we don’t, and how your uploaded files are handled.

labconvert (“we”, “us”) is a network-lab file converter operated by labconvert.tech. This policy explains what information passes through the service and how we treat it. We built labconvert to collect as little as possible.
When you convert a file, it is uploaded to our backend, parsed into an intermediate topology, and re-emitted into the target format(s) you selected. The original upload, any intermediate data, and the generated outputs are written to ephemeral working storage and are automatically wiped within roughly 30 minutes of the conversion.
If you generate a shareable link, the conversion result is retained for up to 24 hours so the link can be opened, then wiped. Anyone holding the link can view that result during its lifetime, so only share it with people you trust.
You can use the free tier without an account. If you sign up, we store your email address and a securely hashed password so you can sign back in. We do not require, and do not store, any other personal information.
Anonymous usage is counted with a first-party cookie, backstopped by your network IP address, purely to enforce the free-tier conversion quota. This is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
The website ships with no third-party analytics, no advertising scripts, and no behavioural tracking. We keep minimal server-side counters (such as total conversions) for operational and status-page purposes; these are aggregate and not tied to your identity.
Paid plans are processed by Gumroad, our payment provider. Your card details are handled entirely by Gumroad and never touch our servers. We receive a confirmation (including the purchase email and plan) to activate your subscription or licence.
You can use the converter without an account. If you have an account and want it removed, email us and we will delete it. Because uploaded files are wiped automatically, there is generally nothing to request deletion of after a conversion completes.
